Information Systems (ZABLAN) is a business and systems
consulting and training company that provides solutions for
the implementation of knowledge management, project
management, e-learning and e-commerce. We conceptualize

and the society.
GMN deals in consultancy and training of business
& productivity tools, e-learning, e-commerce, Systems
Management, and Training and Implementation, offering
certification for Microsoft Project Management, Microsoft
Office Specialist, ICDL and other career oriented courses.
GMN offers softskills trainings (Time Management,
Goal Setting, Creative Problem Solving, Telephone
Techniques, Customer Relationship Management) and workshops
that provide immediate positive and productive
transformation by using effective methods such as role
plays, games, assessments, case studies and brainstorming
sessions.
GMN is also a marketing and management consultancy
company that integrates the use of knowledge transfer

Profile of Project Leader
 Jijie C. Zablan an Industrial Engineering graduate
from University of Sto. Tomas, Philippines is a registered
member of the American Institute of Industrial Engineers. She
also has a degree in Computerized Business Systems from I/ ACT
Control Data Corporation (USA). She is a certified Microsoft
Office Spealist trainer. Ms. Zablan has gained
extensive experience in different computing systems in leading
companies such as MMI, Al Futtaim, and Emirates Banking and
Training Institute, prior to starting her own company
Zablan Information Systems (ZABLAN) now registered as
Great Minds Network (GMN).
ZABLAN has led the development of the website
moeya.ae for the UAE’s Ministry of Education and Youth –
Student Activities and Welfare who partnered with meBank
and Disney Channel as founding sponsors. Jijie Zablan
is chief architect of the website which mainly targets the
1,500 local schools in the UAE and Emirati students worldwide.
Ms. Zablan designed and implemented strategies for the
maintenance and enhancement of the website and also leads a
team of certified trainers who conducted training for the
officials of the Ministry. She trained teachers, Ministry
officials, administrators and students on the use of Mind
Manager as a tool for content generation and management.
The Dubai Human Resources Forum – an association of HR
Directors, Managers, Personnel Managers and Training Managers
– entrusted her team of graphic designers led by her, for the
development and maintenance of their website.
Jijie Zablan is an inspiring speaker on various
technical and management topics and is recipient of the “First
Filipino Achievers Award” (an award given to ten outstanding
Filipinos achievers in the United Arab Emirates) for the year
2000. While employed by Inchcape at MMI, she was awarded the
“Ability Commitment to Excellence (ACE) Award” for the years
1995 and 1997 and was nominated for the Inchcape World
Innovation Award in 1998”. She initiated the internet
training, online technology awareness campaign for the
managers, staff, customers and suppliers of MMI as a
preparation for the conceptualization of the company website
www.mmidubai.com. This website is now considered as one of the

Ms. Zablan is a preferred trainer of young UAE
nationals where she prepares them to enter the business
environment. She had mentored a number of UAE nationals for
their on the job programmes while working for MMI and Al
Futtaim. She conducts ICT trainings for UAE nationals of
Emirates Bank International.
Ms. Zablan is always concerned with community issues
and the welfare of fellow Filipinos anywhere in the world, and
is the founder of the Filipino Computer Club (FCC) in
1996. Also as the Training Directress of the FCC-Philippine
Embassy – Dubai, she trains and leads other trainers who
provide free computer courses to less privileged Filipino
Overseas Workers, to date had trained 11,270 trainees.

 Profile of Mike Patterson
After completing his Education he joined the Royal Navy as a
Marine Engineer and has circumnavigated the globe over two
and a half times, visiting over 50 different countries. He
later transferred to the Royal Electrical & Mechanical
Engineers Branch of the Army, and was posted to Cyprus as
part of the Nations Peace Keeping Force there.
On leaving the armed forces he journeyed to the Middle East
arriving in Abu Dhabi in 1979, since then he has worked in
Nigeria, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Al Ain and Dubai.
He is an active member of Toastmasters International, (an
international organization that promotes communication and
leadership skills) where he delivers project speeches,
contributes as an Educational speaker, mentor, evaluator and
takes up other club supporting roles.
Mike enjoys the responsibility for exercising his motivated
talents, which include leadership, and management. He is
open-minded, curious, creative and innovative, proposes new
ideas and concepts and prefers to be involved in creative
and developmental activities. He views change and variety as
motivating, stimulating, and energizing. His natural talent
for negotiating supports training in this area and includes
strategic thinking, influential communication, analysis, and
persuasion. Mike is strongly motivated to coordinate, to
take action, to manipulate that which is at hand in order to
"get the show on the road."
He has a lovely Filipino wife and two beautiful twin 19 year
old daughters. His family is at present are in Scotland.
His hobbies are: reading, writing, keeping fit, karate,
yoga, public speaking, sharing knowledge and listening to
Personal Development CD’s, and DVD’s. He has attended
various Leadership / Personal Development seminars with Jim
Rohn and twice the Anthony Robbins Unleash The Power Within
Seminar in London, where he took part in a fire walk.
